In 2009 Mason Architects won a design competition managed by Jim Gilvarry of APP on behalf of Harbison Care. The primary objectives were a 60 to 65 bed aging in place / extra services / high care nursing home extension, to achieve cutting edge innovative design and operational efficiency within the cost parameters.
In late 2010 Mason Architects under the direction and approval of Harbison Care and with Jim Gilvarry of APP as client consultant, designed the nursing home and gained development and construction approvals.
